In the process of designing workplace environments, we consider emotions, a sense of belonging, well-being, and physical comfort. Spaces, locations, and buildings should be imbued with personal and cultural significance, as well as history and value.

Creating an interactive environment involves designing a vibrant and inspiring space where people work and communicate. We believe that the workplace should be more than just a functional area. It should be infused with meaning and ideas that transcend standard brand guidelines.

The impact of interior design on workplace environment

Experience is a crucial component of relationships within the workplace environment. The empirical approach enables brands to establish an emotional connection with people, making the space intuitive and pleasant to experience. The workplace environment influences all aspects of perception and behavior, from sensory experiences and emotional responses to cognitive processes, actions, and social interactions.

Empirical approach to workplace design

An example of our approach is the workplace design project for a leader in the paint industry, the Empils Factory. The project began with extensive research and the creation of journey maps for the company’s key user and partner groups. Based on the HR brand platform, we identified archetypes for various types of spaces, ranging from laboratories to conference rooms.

Office interior design for industry: a case study of the Empils factory

The values and philosophy of the brand were integrated into every element of the internal and external environment, from facades to signage and specialized equipment. Our goal was to create an industrial interior where people would feel pride in the product and their connection to it. Therefore, the factory's product — paint — was organically incorporated into the visual aesthetics of the industrial space.

Considering the ESG strategy of the Empils brand, we focused not only on the interior but also on the exterior, which includes the landscape design of the factory and the park within the industrial site.
