data landscape
The project includes a public park featuring VR and AR technologies, as well as a pavilion designed to introduce visitors to the history of the location and modern data centers.
The data center features an organic structure and is surrounded by a walking terrain with observation platforms. The complex consists of three buildings with accessible green roofs, connected by an underground server room, and it harmoniously integrates into the natural landscape, demonstrating the principles of sustainable architecture.
At the center of the complex, above the server room, lies Archicloud —a virtual space that complements physical reality with digital elements.
The buildings are made of concrete, glass, and Lessinia stone, forming a landscape sculpture. The exterior visually extends into the interior.
A unified material creates a cohesive space, emphasizing wooden furniture and lighting that filters through a light well.

Data is the new oil.
The project concept was a finalist in the international Young Architects Competition and offers an innovative approach to transforming data centers.
In the era of big data, data centers are evolving from traditional infrastructure into sustainable meta-architecture with hybrid functions.
The redevelopment of underground military bunkers transforms the data center into a public space and a local landmark. It is integrated into a tourist route between Verona and the Lessinia Natural Park, helping to establish the region's tourism brand.
