The Future is Here — AR and Sustainable Architecture

project
Modern life is unimaginable without digital technologies, which have become a new layer of reality perception. In the Data Landscape project, which merges physical architecture with virtual worlds, this intersection of technology and architecture expands the boundaries of the physical realm.
The Data Landscape project represents an innovative data center that serves not only as an important infrastructure facility but also as a local landmark. Located along the tourist route between Verona and the Lessinia Nature Park, it attracts both tourists and young professionals as an educational center.

The data center complex consists of three blocks featuring modern architecture made of concrete and glass. These blocks are harmoniously integrated into the surrounding landscape and equipped with green roofs, contributing to sustainability and ecological friendliness. The administrative building to the north is designated for management and lectures, while the technical facilities are located in underground bunkers with steel mezzanines to optimize space.

The project also integrates with the virtual metaverse Archicloud, creating a flexible and limitless space for learning and virtual events. Visitors can explore the physical space of the data center and interact with its virtual component using augmented reality (AR) technologies.

The Integration of Architecture and AR Technologies

The architectural concept of the data center symbolizes the future of sustainable architecture, where the boundaries between the real and digital worlds blur. This project demonstrates how to create a cohesive, functional, and meaningful space that combines technological innovations with social significance, opening new possibilities for perceiving and utilizing infrastructure.
